Circle of Prayer
Wherever small groups or individual members of the Sisters of the Holy Family live and serve, they are part of a circle of prayer that includes all of our Sisters, Associates, the people whom we serve in our ministries, our benefactors, friends and families, and all those whom others commend to our prayer. Each month the Sisters and Associates are informed of special prayer intentions.
In addition to the daily prayers of the Sisters and Associates, there are special centers of prayer in the Congregation. Holy Family Golden Gleaners Care Center at the Motherhouse is the residence for our frail elderly and infirm Sisters. In the words of our recently deceased Sister Frances Agnes Grimmer, “This is a powerhouse of prayers; here an individual’s sufferings are offered on a daily basis as lives poured out in loving service.”
Another addition to the Circle of Prayer is the formation of a chain of Prayer Partners between a petitioner and a Sister by mail, telephone or email – keeping in touch with someone who has an ongoing need for prayers.
