Maxims of Sister Dolores
- Sisters, be prudent, but patient and mild,
- Treat kindly each frail, trusting child;
- Learn from the heart of our Saviour so sweet
- How to be firm and yet gentle and meek.
- Stop not at trifles to grieve and repine,
- Bear wrongs with patience for this is divine;
- Bear for the love of our crucified Lord
- Each daily care, and each sharp bitter word.
- Remember in all trials that God’s will is best
- And that life’s rugged pathway leadeth to rest.
